To celebrate the release of Jack White’s highly-anticipated third studio album BOARDING HOUSE REACH, the Live Nation Concert Series on Twitter will globally live stream his intimate record release show at Warsaw in Brooklyn, NY. The special underplay performance is presented by The Governors Ball Music Festival, which White is headlining on June 1st. The stream will start at 10 pm ET and be available exclusively on Twitter.
The lucky fans that were able to score tickets will be required to keep their phones locked up for what is sure to be a unique set list. For everyone else joining via Livestream, their virtual front row ticket will unlock access to watch the magic of White’s new music and classic hits unfold straight from their mobile devices and desktops. There is nothing more spectacular than experiencing live music in person. That said, live streaming of concerts has become wildly popular the last few years as fans share and discover live music on their devices. Live streams also provide artists with another avenue to create deeper connections with their fans around the world.
White, a 12-time GRAMMY winner, just announced he will hit the road for his first world tour in almost four years beginning on April 19th in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena and continuing through August 24th in Las Vegas, with stops in London, Paris and Amsterdam, as well as the previously announced festival headline performances at Governors Ball, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Shaky Knees Music Festival, Boston Calling, Arroyo Seco, Rock Werchter, and more.
Live Nation is an industry pioneer when it comes to reimagining the live music experience on a global scale. The Live Nation Concert series on Twitter has included live streamed shows from Imagine Dragons, Steve Aoki, G-Eazy, A$AP Ferg, Zac Brown Band, Zedd, Train, 21 Savage, Khalid and many more. Governors Ball will celebrate its eighth consecutive year as New York City’s premier live music event, and by acclamation, one of the top music festivals in North America. In addition to White being the opening headliner, the festival will also feature performances by Eminem Travis Scott, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Halsey, N.E.R.D., Khalid, the worldwide debut of Silk City (a new project from Diplo and Mark Ronson) and more.
