’I Was Born’ is built on the idea that every person has a unique purpose and potential to change the world around them,” explains HANSON. “This is a theme that has inspired us to pursue our own dream of making music for 25 years. “The AUDIENCE Network Music show is rare in that it allows artists to not only share their music but also share their story,” added HANSON. “We love being a part of a series that is truly made for music fans.”

With their own unique blend of harmony-driven, soulful pop-rock, the trio of brothers who make up pop-rock trio HANSON (Isaac, Taylor and Zac) are celebrating 25 years of playing music together, selling over 16 million albums, scoring multiple GRAMMY nominations and reaching fans from Tulsa to Tokyo while touring the world behind their six studio albums. Doing anything for a quarter century is rare, even more so when you include global fame at a young age, years of touring, writing and recording, founding an independent label, and balancing brotherhood and business.

HANSON just wrapped their anniversary celebration with the Middle Of Everywhere 25th Anniversary World Tour, in which the group performed to sold-out crowds in Europe, Australia, Latin America, the United States and Canada, alongside the release of their Greatest Hits collection of the same name, which is their first comprehensive collection, spanning their more than two decade career. The double album features hit singles “Mmmbop,” “Where’s The Love,” “I Will Come To You,” “Weird,” “If Only,” “This Time Around,” “Save Me,” “Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’” and many more, including the new single “I Was Born,” which NPR Music described as Impossible to resist.” Completing their 25th Anniversary celebration, the trio released the long-awaited Christmas album Finally It’s Christmas (2017), a follow up to their first beloved 1997 Christmas release Snowed In, accompanied by a limited number of special Christmas concerts. The album was co-produced by Mark Hudson (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osborne, Ringo Starr) who also co-produced Snowed In.

HANSON released their major label debut in 1997, and saw a meteoric rise with the international smash single “Mmmbop” from the album Middle Of Nowhere, which garnered multiple Grammy nominations and five consecutive top 40 singles, including “Where’s The Love,” “I Will Come To You” and “Weird.” Continuing the momentum with their critically acclaimed sophomore release This Time Around, more hit singles and extensive touring deepened the band’s connection with their fans, and helped to cement their place as one of the world’s leading artists. Ahead of their time, HANSON founded their own independent 3CG Records (2003), and the band was able to create stability in a very turbulent music business, starting a new era for themselves. Their first independent release, Underneath in 2004, was a #1 Billboard Independent Album and helped establish HANSON as one of the most successful independent bands to date. Since then HANSON released 3 more studio albums, The Walk, Shout It Out, and ANTHEM. In 2013, the group founded Hanson Brothers Beer Company, and in 2014 established The Hop Jam Beer and Music Festival, based in their hometown of Tulsa, OK, which brings artists and brewers from all over the world to one of the country’s leading Craft Beer and Music Festivals with 40,000 in attendance. HANSON continues to release albums through their label and tour the world, focusing on cultivating their vibrant global fanbase.
